Pre-Grade Your Cards — Know the Grade Before You Pay
Pre-grading is the screening step the hobby always lacked: project the grade your card would get — the same centering, corners, edges, and surface the professional graders score — before you pay a single fee. Unlimited, free, from one photo. The cards that deserve grading rise; the rest stay raw and save you the money.
One photo = a projected grade
Point your camera at the card and get a projected grade on the PSA scale in seconds, with individual sub-scores for centering, corners, edges, and surface.

Every pre-grade names the specific issues — the whitened corner, the print line, the off-center cut — so you know exactly what a professional grader will see when your card arrives.

What is a card pre-grade?
A pre-grade predicts the grade a professional company will assign, by scoring the same four criteria — centering, corners, edges, surface — from a photo. It's the screening step that decides which cards are worth paying to grade.
How accurate is pre-grading?
Pre-grading predicts the professional grade and reports its confidence per card. It's a screening tool, not a guarantee — but as a filter that stops bad submissions, it's the difference between gambling and investing.
Is pre-grading really free?
Yes — unlimited free pre-grades on iCollecta. Professional slab grading always costs a fee; the free pre-grade tells you which submissions are worth that fee.
Does a pre-grade guarantee my grade?
No — only the grading company assigns the official grade. A pre-grade tells you what to expect so you make the fee decision with information instead of hope.
