How the connection works
Dialing opens a private call channel between the two of you — voice streams through it in real time, one side at a time, walkie-style. Nothing is recorded, and the channel closes the moment the call ends.
1. Every signup gets a channel
The moment you join iCollecta, you're assigned a unique channel number — yours for the life of your account. It sits big and bold on your profile. Share it, and any collector can reach you.
2. Enter their channel number
Type the channel number of the collector, shop, or seller you want to reach into the call box and press Dial. Channel numbers work like sideline radio callsigns — no phone numbers, no email, no leaving the app.
3. Their radio rings
A private call channel opens between the two of you and their radio rings. They see your name and channel and pick up. If they don't answer in 30 seconds, the call drops — nothing lost.
4. Hold to talk, release to listen
Once you're both in, it's true walkie: hold the button and your voice streams to them in real time; release and the floor is theirs. One side at a time, just like a coach's headset on the sideline.
